Dr. med. Heba Al-Alwan, MSc is a medical doctor specialized in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and Diabetes (board certified) and a PhD student at the Institute of Primary Health Care (BIHAM). She obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has three years work experience in public health and epidemiology. Her PhD centers around the association between subclinical thyroid dysfunction and diabetes.
Heba Al-Alwan also works as a senior resident in the Service of Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism at the University Hospital of Lausanne.
